During Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany, PSI Audio will showcase its brand new A23-M precision studio monitor and the active bass trap AVAA C20 as well as a number of other active monitors at the Maritim Hotel right next to the trade show grounds. Visitors of the shows can easily reach the hotel within minutes and then get treated to the finest precision monitoring available. The latest mid-sized three-way system A23-M takes the centre stage with its specially designed drivers, but other models will be available for listening demos as well. Equally impressive is the demonstration of the active bass trap AVAA C20, hard at work eliminating room modes in the acoustically untreated hotel room. The demonstrations take place on the evening of the 3rd April and all day on the 4th April. The demos are free, but registering for a demo by simply writing to info@psiaudio.swiss would be greatly appreciated. Recent information on the hotel room can also be accessed through the PSI Audio website: www.psiaudio.swiss

Yverdon-les-Bains, 7th March 2019 – Few products are harder to showcase at trade shows than monitor speakers. While recording and mixing gear can generally be demonstrated through headphones, speakers do not allow this approach. For that reason, PSI Audio provides a listening room at the Maritim Hotel just outside the show grounds of Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound 2019, presenting the all-new A23-M three-way monitor speaker and the active bass trap AVAA C20.
Treat your ears: the PSI Audio listening room
While not exactly a studio environment, a suite at Maritim Hotel is much more capable of conveying the sonic qualities of PSI Audio monitor speakers than a trade show booth could ever be. As a convenient solution for visitors of Musikmesse or Prolight+Sound 2019, the Maritim Hotel is located right next to the Frankfurt Messe near the Forum and the Congress Center. In a comfortable (and air-conditioned) environment, guests can experience the outstanding performance of PSI Audio products and talk to the Swiss specialists.
Three ways of Swiss precision monitoring: A23-M
Introduced at NAMM 2019, the A23-M is the exciting new addition to the PSI Audio range of active studio monitors. Based on its larger sibling A25-M, the A23-M retains the three-way setup but puts it into a more compact piece. Specifically developed, the mid-driver of the A23-M achieves outstanding SPL, exceptionally linear response and low distortion levels. With this midrange driver and the tweeter mounted to a rotatable square baffle, the A23-M can be positioned horizontally or vertically. Like the other models from the comprehensive range of active studio monitors by PSI Audio, some of which will be presented in the hotel room as well, the A23-M is equipped with proprietary technologies like Compensated Phase Response, Adaptive Output Impedance and Class G/H amplifiers in order to produce the most accurate sonic image possible.
Make the room sound: AVAA C20
PSI Audio will welcome guests for listening demos in a hotel room. While this is preferable over showcasing speakers on the trade show floor, the room still will not be acoustically perfect. Luckily, PSI Audio has one tool in its arsenal that greatly improves the acoustic characteristics of a room: the active bass trap AVAA C20. The innovative and exceptionally efficient system eliminates room modes between 15 and 150 Hz without the need to be tuned to certain frequencies. While by now many people have heard of the AVAA system, comparatively few have actually heard its impact. The listening room at Maritim Hotel gives everyone the chance to experience the incredible effect on transparency and clarity the AVAA C20 achieves.
